At our showroom in Lynnwood, WA we hosted an afternoon and evening of fun and festivities for over 150 of our customers and guests.
The afternoon started out with specials on pallets of deeply-discounted goods for which half the proceeds were donated to CARE. Inside we had a collection of vintage and antique Chinese furniture, some of which was featured in a silent auction. There were also many single-piece specials and a large selection of chipped and cracked pieces, "seconds", which were free to event attendees.
While snacking on assorted finger foods and beverages we were treated to music by Fred Li and Azan. (Sorry Azan, I didn't get a picture of you performing.) Once the sales for the event had wrapped up we sat down to an introduction to Traditional Feng Shui by Lesley Yates of Alphega Living Concepts.
While Lesley was talking inside, Veraci Pizza was outside preparing their oven-on-a-cart to serve us freshly baked pizza. Their little oven turns out delicious thin-crust pizzas in about two minutes and they were great about us not keeping to our planned schedule. I highly recommend them for any event or party.
Finally, Chris announced the preliminary estimate of funds raised for CARE and introduced Correo Aereo. This musical duo uses a variety of instruments and styles in their performances of traditional music from Central and South America. They wrapped up the evening for us in style.
