Inspired by the Imprunetta terra cotta of Italy, these handsome containers carry that heritage, both in their classical shapes and in their robust clay body. Clay is wedged by hand until pliable enough to hand press into a mold. The result - an extremely consistent, durable clay body. This technique has been used for many centuries in the Mediterranean and is by far superior to that of machine made pots. |
