| Mi Wu, celebrated ceramic artist and professor of ceramics at Edmonds and Bellevue community colleges, joined Aw's Chris Jacobs in a lively discussion. Topics included the history and making of pottery, differences in clay mixtures and glazes, and folk tales too. Audience members were invited to create their own sculptures, and Lee Lang Aw demonstrated the making of a pot using the coil technique.

| Ciscoe Morris wrapped up the afternoon with very entertaining storytelling we call A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Garden. Everyone learned a few things about horticulture and bugs, and a great time was had by all. After his presentation, the winners of our First Annual Container Gardening Contest were announced.
